User Environment Debug Logging (Windows 2000/XP)

This setting enables debug logging of user profile and system policy processes which may be helpful in troubleshooting problems.

1.Open your registry and find or create the key below.

2.Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called "UserEnvDebugLevel" and set it according to the value data below.

Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Note : The log file is written to the %SystemRoot%\Debug\UserMode\Userenv.log file.

Value Name : UserEnvDebugLevel
Data Type : REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data : Enabled = 65538 (decimal)
