Remove Pinned Programs List from the Start Menu (Windows XP)

This restriction removes the pinned programs list from the Start menu. It also removes the Internet and E-mail checkboxes from the Start menu.

1.Open your registry and find or create the key below.

2.Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called "NoStartMenuPinnedList" and set it according to the value data below.

Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Note : This setting only applies to the Windows XP Start Menu, not the Classic Start Menu.
