Run the Startup Scripts Asynchronously (Windows 2000/XP)

Startup scripts are files that run before the user logs on. Normally the startup scripts run consecutively, but when this setting is enabled the scripts can run simultaneously.

1.Open your registry and find or create the key below.

2.Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called "RunStartupScriptSync" and set it according to the value data below.

Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Value Name : RunStartupScriptSync
Data Type : REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data : (0 = asynchronously, 1 = synchronously)
