Show Filter in Active Directory Search Results (Windows 2000/XP)

This setting controls whether a filter box, which allows you to filter based on additional parameters, is shown above the Active Directory search results.
1.Open your registry and find or create the key below.
2.Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called "EnableFilter" and set it according to the value data below.
Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

User Key : [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft \Windows\Directory UI]
Value Name : EnableFilter
Data Type : REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data : (0 = disable filter, 1 = enable)
