Restore Folder Windows at Startup (Windows XP)

This option controls whether Windows will attempt to re-open any folders that were already open when the system was last shutdown.

1.Open your registry and find or create the key below.
2.Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called "PersistBrowsers" and set it according to the value data below.

Exit your registry; you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

User Key : [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows \CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
Value Name : PersistBrowsers
Data Type : REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value Data : (0 = do not re-open, 1 = re-open windows)
